FIRE PUMP SYSTEM
A fire pump is a critical piece of a building’s fire sprinkler system’s water supply and it is powered by diesel ,electric, or steam. The pump intake is either connected to a static water source (e.g., reservoir, tank, lake) or the public underground water supply piping. The pump provides water flow at a higher pressure to the hose standpipes and sprinkler system risers. In order to make sure your fire sprinkler system will be able to protect your building and its components regular fire pump testing and inspection is required. At Redflames Firefighting, our trained engineers and technicians have professional experience providing complete fire protection services, including fire pump installation, inspection and testing.
